A joint venture between KLK, Mitsui & Co., Ltd., Miyoshi Oil & Fat Co., Ltd. and Asahi Denka Kyogo K.K., it is one of the earliest resource-based manufacturing investments by KLK. The plant was commissioned in 1992 and produces PALMERA Fatty Acids and Glycerine using the latest process technology and computerized monitoring systems. With its latest expansion, Palm-Oleo is one of the largest standalone Oleochemical producers in the world.
